A3R Charter

Purpose
The purpose of A3R is to advance the adoption of Responsible AI by delivering governance frameworks, ethical design methodologies, and trustworthy AI deployment strategies to organizations worldwide.
Scope
- Develop and implement Responsible AI principles, governance, and oversight.
- Provide advisory, training, and technology integration services for AI systems.
- Promote inclusion, transparency, fairness, and compliance in AI.
- Support public and private organizations in meeting ethical and legal AI standards.

Roles & Responsibilities
Owner
- Holds full legal and operational authority over the LLC.
- Makes all strategic, financial, and operational decisions.
- Approves budgets, contracts, client engagements, and partnerships.
- Has sole authority to amend the charter, bylaws/operating agreement, and business policies.
- Oversees all AI projects to ensure alignment with Responsible AI principles.
Ethics & Governance Function (Owner)
- Conduct Ethical Impact Assessments for AI projects.
- Oversee risk management, bias testing, and compliance with laws (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
- Maintain documentation (Model Cards, Datasheets, Governance Logs).
- If delegated, the owner retains final approval authority.
Advisors / Consultants (non-governing)
- Provide subject-matter expertise in AI governance, compliance, technology, and market strategy.
- Serve in an advisory capacity only — no binding decision-making power.
- Engaged on an as-needed basis.
Operations & Delivery Teams
- Execute projects in line with A3R’s ethical AI framework.
- Report progress, risks, and performance metrics to the owner.
- Maintain transparency and auditability of AI systems.
